In 2019, LONgTIME closed its doors and re-emerged as sAmesAme
Same restaurant, new name, new location and part of The Calile precinct
The brief was to carry the spirit of LONgTIME into a more refined chapter
Confident and grown-up, but still playful in tone
The elephant icon became part of the wordmark
Its form echoed in the distinctive A’s
The original play of uppercase and lowercase was retained and rebalanced
Named after a Thai street slang phrase, sAmesAme feels easy and familiar
The identity follows suit. Understated, refined, characterful and made to endure
